Divya Prasad began with a grandmother in Chennai who had not seen Tirumala in nine years.
Her grandson stood in the queue for her, and when he brought back the laddu she held it for a long while before she ate it. She said the temple had finally come to her. That is the whole of our business plan. We are a small team of sevaks, packers and logistics people working out of Chennai, Varanasi and Bhubaneswar. In each city we live near the temple we serve. We walk in before the crowd, we offer what you have asked us to offer, and we photograph it so you never have to take our word for it. We take no donation for ourselves out of the chadhava you give. What you offer to the temple reaches the temple. What you give to our seva fund sends prasad to a family who could not have afforded the postage.
